About the Journal and about IUU
The IMS Unison University (IUU) has a proud legacy of more than two decades as a premier Institution for higher education. It started in 1996 as IMS Dehradun, a non- profit organization set by a group of visionaries dedicated to the cause of changing the face of professional education in Northern India. The University stands for promoting disciplinary and trans-disciplinary interaction and nurturing excellence. University presently offers under- graduate and post- graduate program in several streams of Management, Law, Mass Communication, Hospitality Management and Liberal Arts.
With a view to encourage research and disseminate the findings, IUU publishes esteemed referred Journals in each of the three disciplines of Management, Mass Comm, and Law, namely, Pragyaan: Journal of Management, Pragyaan: Journal of Mass Communication and Pragyaan: Journal of Law. The Pragyaan: Journal of Law is published on behalf of the Faculty of Law in the IMS Unison University. Pragyaan: Journal of Law is a flagship law journal of School of Law, IMS Unison University, a bi- annual peer-reviewed journal, was first published in 2011 and seeks to promote original and diverse legal scholarship in a global context.The journal has since established itself as a leading journal for theoretical, interdisciplinary, comparative and other conceptually oriented inquiries into law and law reform. The Journal regularly publishes articles that study law from such perspectives as legal philosophy, law and economics, legal history, criminology, law and literature, and feminist analysis. Global in relevance, international in scope, it publishes work by highly regarded scholars from many countries
